VEGAS (April 11, 2023)- The Vegas Golden Knights announced today, April 11, the winners of their annual regular season awards, presented in a postgame ceremony after tonight's Fan Appreciation Knight game at T-Mobile Arena.

Three total awards were given to the winning players, including a Vegas Golden Knights First Star Award as determined by 'stars of the game' voting at home games; Vegas Strong Service Award for the player most involved in serving and giving back to the Vegas community; and the Seventh Player Award for the player who most exceeded expectations on the ice. Each of the winners will choose a local charity to receive a $5,000 donation from the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.
Jack Eichel is the winner of the First Star Award, presented by Gold Bar Whiskey. Eichel led Vegas with 16 goals scored at T-Mobile Arena during the 2022-23 regular season and finished second on the team in total points recorded on home ice with 34 (16 G, 18 A) in 33 games played. The 26-year-old's +16 rating set during home games this season also led all skaters on the club. Eichel will choose the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation to receive a $5,000 donation from the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.
Reilly Smithearned the Vegas Strong Service Award for his consistent efforts leading the Golden Knights in the Vegas community. Last July, Smith again hosted the Battle For Vegas charity softball tournament. The event launched in 2019 and raises funds for local charities. Smith will choose Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada to receive a $5,000 donation from the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.
William Carrier was voted by fans as the winner of the Seventh Player Award after posting career-highs in points (25) and goals (16) in 56 games this season. The forward's 16 tallies are nearly double his previous best (9) and include a team-leading 7 game-winning goals for Vegas this year. Carrier will choose Sunrise Children's Hospital to receive a $5,000 donation from the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.
