VGK Announce Winners for End of Season Awards Presented by T-Bird Jewels

VEGAS (April 24, 2022) - The Vegas Golden Knights announced today, April 24, winners from the team's annual regular season awards ceremony presented by T-Bird Jewels. Three total awards were given to the winning players, including a Vegas Golden Knights First Star Award as determined by 'stars of the game' voting at home games; Vegas Strong Service Award for the player most involved in serving and giving back to the Vegas community; and Seventh Player Award for the player who most exceeded expectations on the ice.

Evgenii Dadonov is the winner of the First Star Award after leading all Vegas skaters with 14 goals scored at T-Mobile Arena during the 2021-22 regular season. Dadonov currently owns 41 (20 G, 21 A) points through 75 games played, ranking fifth on the Golden Knights. The forward's five power play goals are tied for a team lead.
Mark Stone earned the Vegas Strong Service Award for his consistent efforts in the Las Vegas community. Throughout the 2021-22 season, Stone donated suites at T-Mobile Arena to multiple law enforcement groups during Golden Knights home games. The Manitoba native is also a proud supporter of the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, a Las Vegas organization that provides medical treatment to children battling cancer and other life-threatening conditions, as well as Olive Crest, a local foster care organization.
Nicolas Roy is the recipient of the Seventh Player Award, as determined by online fan vote, after posting career-highs in games played (75), goals (15), assists (22) and points (37) during his third season with the Golden Knights. His 74 appearances over the 2021-22 campaign are tied for third among all Vegas skaters. The forward was acquired by the Golden Knights from the Carolina Hurricanes in June of 2019.
