VEGAS (March 10, 2019) - Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, March 10, the following roster transaction: the team has recalled goaltender Maxime Lagace from the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves on an emergency basis.
Lagace, who was most recently recalled from Chicago on January 30, has made one appearance for the Golden Knights. He stopped 27 shots in a loss at the Carolina Hurricanes on February 1. With the Wolves this season, he has appeared in 28 games this season and has a 16-7-4 record to go with a goals-against average of 2.30 and a save percentage of 0.916. Last season, the Saint-Augustin, Quebec native appeared in 16 games for the Golden Knights, going 6-7-1 with a 3.92 goals-against average and a 0.867 save percentage. Last year in Chicago, he finished with a 14-5-1 record to go with a 2.84 goals-against average and a 0.905 save percentage. Lagace originally signed with the Golden Knights on July 1, 2017 and re-signed with the team on July 1, 2018.
