THE GAME
Roope Hintz grabbed the lone goal in the first period and the Stars were up 1-0 heading into the intermission. Midway through the second period, Max Pacioretty struck on the power play to beat Ben Bishop and even the score. The teams stayed deadlocked at one until the 14:52 mark of the final period when Pacioretty scored again to give Vegas its first lead of the contest. Nate Schmidt and Brayden McNabb added empty-net goals, Marc-Andre Fleury finished with 23 saves and the Golden Knights earned the victory, 4-1.
AT THE TIME
In the team's first game since acquiring Mark Stone at the trade deadline, Vegas snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 33-26-5 overall on the 2018-19 season.
