THE GAME
The Stars held a 1-0 lead in the third period before James Neal scored the first goal in team history to tie the game. Neal scored again in overtime to lift the Golden Knights to their first victory in franchise history.
AT THE TIME
The win was the first in team history and sparked a three-game win streak to open the organization's first season in the NHL.
