Hague has appeared in 142 NHL games, all with the Golden Knights, and recorded 42 points (10 G, 32 A) over three seasons. The defenseman skated in an additional 10 contests with Vegas during the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Before his time with the Golden Knights, Hague spent parts of three seasons in the AHL with the Chicago Wolves and helped the team make an appearance in the 2019 Calder Cup Finals.
Hague became the fourth draft selection in team history on June 23, 2017, when selected in the second round (34th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to professional play, the native of Ontario played three seasons in the OHL with the Mississauga Steelheads. Hague was named the CHL Defenseman of the Year following the 2017-18 season, his final with the Steelheads.
