##### One: Eberle New Leading Scorer
With Andre Burakovsky deemed "week-to-week" with a lower-body injury, he will be at 39 points until he returns. Sunday, with a goal and two assists, Jordan Eberle moved into the Kraken's top-scoring spot with 40 points. He's on pace for a career-high in assists (projected at 45) and he ended a goal drought (12 games) Sunday that provides hope a hot streak awaits. His 113 shots on goal is top-three on the team (Oliver Bjorkstrand has 133 and Jared McCann has 107). Eberle's shots-on-goal percentage is 9.7 or basically a goal every 10 shots. His career SOG percentage is 12.9 over 911 NHL regular season games. He's due for a happy correction down the postseason stretch run and regularly comments that as long as he is getting quality scoring chances, the goals will come.

Two: Road Warriors
Despite three losses in the New York Metro area to start this road trip, the Kraken are still ranked top five across the NHL this season in road wins (17, tied second), points (36, tied fourth), and regulation wins (16, tied second). They have reference points on how to win Tuesday.

The coaches and players were happy with the effort in the games played Sunday (4-3 win over Philly) and New Jersey (3-1 loss with late empty-netter). But even against the Flyers, there were disappointing stretches: Jordan Eberle said "I didn't like our third too much" (especially after taking a 4-2 lead and Dave Hakstol called a timeout mid-period to re-set his squad).
"We stopped playing after the fourth goal," said Hakstol about staking a two-goal lead one minute into the final period. "I really liked the way we played for 41 minutes. We were forechecking, possessing the puck, and quick on our transitions. We stopped doing those things. We got safe and it killed us."
##### Three: Cooling the Jets
Winnipeg is top three in the Western Conference under new coach Rick Bowness, second in the Central Division with just three points (with a game in hand) on Bowness' former team, the Dallas Stars. Similar to the Kraken, the Jets have reversed a recent three-game losing streak, in this case with two straight wins, most recently a 4-1 victory at home over Chicago in WPG's return game from the All-Star break. They will be rested and Vezina Trophy candidate Connor Hellebuyck will very likely man the Winnipeg net. Steady defenseman Dylan DeMelo returns to solidify the Jets' top pair.
He might not be a household name across North America, but forward and Michigan native Kyle Conner (24 goals, 36 assists for 60 points in 53 games) is a fan favorite in Manitoba and a person of worry for Kraken fans. Another trophy candidate (for the Norris) on the Jets roster is D-man Josh Morrissey, enjoying a breakout season with 11 goals and 44 assists (23 of the latter come from his power play quarterback distribution).
