Seattle Kraken DEEP SWEEPS – 32 DAYS of PRIZES
OFFICIAL RULES
Seattle Hockey Partners LLC (“SHP”) invites fans to participate in its Seattle Kraken Deep Sweeps – 32 Days of Prizes. Participants will enter for a chance to win two (2) roundtrip tickets on Alaska Airlines and other great prizes, subject to these Official Rules (the “Promotion”).
PROMOTION ADMINISTRATOR AND SPONSOR
The Promotion is proudly sponsored and administered by SHP, located at 10601 5th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125.
WHEN IS THIS HAPPENING?
The Promotion commences on March 2, 2024 at 12:01am PST and ends April 2, 2024 at 11:59pm PST (the “Promo Period”). Any entry submitted after 11:59pm PST on April 2, 2024 is void.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter, simply complete and submit the online form located at https://info.nhlseattle.com/DeepSweeps by providing your full name, e-mail address, postal code and mobile phone number (if you wish to receive notifications about the Promotion via text message; standard messaging and data rates may apply). Participants must provide all requested information to enter; incomplete or inaccurate entries will not be eligible to win. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. One (1) entry per person. Each entry will constitute one (1) entry to win on the day it is submitted and one (1) entry to win on each subsequent day during the Promo Period; provided that, if a participant is selected as a Winner (defined below), such participant is no longer eligible to win another Prize.
By participating in the Promotion and/or claiming a Prize (as defined below) should you be selected as a Winner, you certify that you are at least eighteen (18) years old and a legal resident of Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska and/or British Columbia, Canada, and agree to these Official Rules and SHP’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. You further certify that you are physically and legally able to fly on Alaska Airlines and do not have any known conditions that may be exacerbated by air travel. You additionally certify that any guest you select to participate in any Prize (a “Guest”) you select to participate in a Prize is at least 18 years old, unless Winner is the parent and/or legal guardian of the Guest, and then the Guest must be at least 10 years old. Your eligibility for the Promotion is contingent upon these certifications. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win; void where prohibited. Employees, directors, officers, and agents of SHP, Alaska Airlines or Seattle Arena Company, LLC (“SAC”) and each of their respective parent companies, divisions, dealers, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and suppliers involved in the Promotion, as well as the members of each of their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and in-laws) and persons residing in the same household as such individuals are not eligible to enter or win.
PRIZE
For each day during the Promo Period, one (1) winner (each, a “Winner” and collectively, the “Winners”) will be randomly selected by random digitization software from among the eligible entries to win. Residents of Canada, in order to win, must first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without the aid of a mechanical device, administered by mail or e-mail at SHP’s sole discretion. Each Winner will be awarded (i) two (2) roundtrip main cabin, saver fare tickets on Alaska Airlines for use by Winner and one (1) Guest, subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions set forth in these Official Rules (the “Alaska Airlines Tickets”) (estimated retail value of the Alaska Airlines Tickets is $599) and (ii) an additional Seattle Kraken-related item as determined by SHP in their sole discretion (estimated retail value ranges from $60 to $500 depending on the item) (the “Kraken Prize” and together with the Alaska Airline Tickets, each, a “Prize”). The Kraken Prizes will be periodically communicated in advance and are subject to change at SHP’s discretion. Winner will need to provide SHP with a mailing address located in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska and/or British Columbia, Canada to where such Winner wants SHP to send a Prize, if applicable.
All details related to the Alaska Airlines Tickets shall be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of Alaska Airlines. Cost paid by Winner for the Alaska Airlines Tickets start from $15 each way ($0.01 base fare plus taxes and fees from $15 each way) depending on your Alaska Airlines itinerary. O class of service must be available. Seats are limited and may not be available for all flights. Based on published fare routings and some cities may not be available. One discount allowed per reservation. The Alaska Airline Tickets are non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions except at Alaska Airlines’ sole and absolute discretion. The Alaska Airlines Tickets must be to or from SEA or PAE airports only and must be to or from the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada or Latin America. Travel dates must be between April 10, 2024 and May 22, 2024. Flights to Hawaii, Latin America or Florida must be on Sunday through Wednesday. Flights from Hawaii, Latin America or Florida must be on Tuesday through Friday. Flights to the other continental United States, Canada or Alaska must be on Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday. The travel authorization certificate is valid for flights served by Alaska Airlines, Horizon Airlines and/or applicable Skywest Airlines flights. Mileage Plan Miles cannot be earned or credited. First Class paid upgrades or mileage plan upgrades are allowed with all such associated fees borne by Winner. Stopovers and connections are also allowed (subject to fare rules) with all such associated fees borne by Winner. Standard baggage fees apply and are borne by Winner. See Alaska Airlines’ checked baggage policy and flight schedules at www.alaskaair.com for more details. Winner must possess all necessary documentation required for air travel (e.g., a valid, government-issued driver’s license, U.S. passport, etc.). Individual travel taxes may apply and will be borne by Winner. Once ticketed, fare rules apply and will be borne by Winner regarding changes to itinerary. Winner and their Guest must travel on the same itinerary. Flight times and dates will be determined by Alaska Airlines, in Alaska Airlines’ sole discretion.
If a Prize includes tickets to a Seattle Kraken game or other event at Climate Pledge Arena, you must have a Ticketmaster.com account in order to accept the Prize. All Prize details are at SHP’s sole discretion. All other costs and expenses related to a Prize are not covered, including but not limited to hotel rooms and all ground transportation. Limit one (1) Prize per Winner.
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Winners may not substitute a cash award in lieu of all or any portion of a Prize. Each Winner is solely responsible for paying any applicable local, state, or federal taxes related to the Promotion, as well as any costs and expenses associated with a Prize. Winners may be required to provide SHP with their social security number for tax purposes as a prior condition to participating in or accepting a Prize. SHP makes no warranty or guarantee regarding any Prize, express or implied, and each Prize is awarded on an “as-is” basis. By participating in the Promotion and accepting a Prize, each participant agrees to abide by all applicable laws as well as all policies in force at SHP, SAC, Alaska Airlines and/or Climate Pledge Arena. SHP reserves the right to substitute any Prize for a prize of equal or greater value if the original Prize cannot be honored for any reason. SHP further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse to honor a Prize if too few entries are received or if the participant or the Guest claiming it is unruly, disruptive, uncooperative, fails to comply with any policies of SHP, SAC, Alaska Airlines and/or Climate Pledge Arena, or may or does cause damage to any person, property, or the reputation of SHP, SAC, Alaska Airlines and/or Climate Pledge Arena. The Prizes, including any additional restrictions, are at SHP’s sole discretion.
HOW TO WIN
SHP will randomly select one (1) potential Winner by random digitization software after each day of the Promo Period. Potential Winners will be notified by e-mail and/or text message at the e-mail address and/or phone number provided by such Winner in their entry by no later than 11:59pm PST on the date that is two (2) days after the date their name is drawn. Participants do not need to be present to win; however, each potential Winner must respond to the notice from SHP and/or its designee in writing to accept and claim their Prize within forty-eight (48) hours the notice is sent (the “Response Deadline”). If SHP and/or its designee does not receive written confirmation that such Winner accepts their Prize by the Response Deadline, such Winner forfeits any right to or claim on a Prize, and SHP may, at its discretion, select another Winner in the same manner described above. By claiming or accepting any Prize, each Winner certifies that they agree to these Official Rules.
Any Prize that is obtained in contravention of these Official Rules or the local, state, or federal law will be deemed void and will not be honored. Prizes may not be sold or transferred. SHP will determine in its sole discretion whether a Prize has been improperly obtained, presented, or transferred.
REPRESENTATIONS AND INDEMNIFICATION
Each and every participant and each Winner hereby represents and warrants that they have read these Official Rules, are fully familiar with their contents, and agree to abide thereby. Each Winner shall be responsible and liable for the actions of any Guest who partakes in a Prize, including any third party to whom a Prize (or any portion thereof) is gifted, sold or transferred. Each participant further agrees to indemnify, defend, discharge, release, forever acquit, and hold SHP, SAC, and their affiliated entities (including third-party partners) and their respective officers, employees, representatives, agents and contractors harmless against any and all demands, claims, actions, or proceedings of any kind, and from any and all injuries, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses related to or arising out of the participation in the Promotion, any Prize awarded, or any breach or alleged breach of any of the warranties, representations, or agreements of participants hereto. Each Winner and any Guest who participates in a Prize in any way may be required by SHP or SAC to execute additional forms, releases, and/or waivers as a prior condition to participating in a Prize.
Each Winner and any Guest may be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination (i.e., at least two (2) weeks will have passed between final vaccination date and the performance) and/or proof of negative COVID test within the time window specified by SHP and/or SAC. Each Winner and any Guest may also be required to wear masks at all times at the performance in accordance with any SHP and SAC policies. Acceptance of the COVID-19 documents presented by a Winner and any Guest are subject to SHP and/or SAC’s approval in their sole discretion.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Participants agree to obey all applicable laws and regulations, and to be bound by these Official Rules. By participating in the Promotion, you fully and unconditionally release SHP and SAC from (1) all claims for liability arising from or related to your participation in the Promotion and (2) all claims related to a participant or Guest’s acceptance, receipt, possession, loss, and/or misuse of any entry or Prize.
SHP and SAC make no representations regarding the effects, condition, safety or potential exposure risks related to human coronaviruses, any pandemic-related precautions that are required or not required by SHP or SAC, or attendance at the event.
In the event SHP is unable to continue the Promotion or to honor a Prize (or portion thereof) due to any event beyond its control, including but not limited to technological errors, fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health or other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil unrest, terrorist threat or act, war (declared or undeclared), or any local, state, or federal law, order, or regulation, then subject to any governmental approval that may be required, SHP reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend, or terminate the Promotion and these Official Rules.
DATA PRIVACY
Private or personally identifying information collected in connection with the Promotion may be retained by SHP and SAC, sold, shared with business partners and/or affiliates, or used for marketing purposes. By participating in the Promotion, you consent to SHP and SAC’s collection and use of your personal information as described in our privacy policy available here: https://www.nhl.com/kraken/info/privacy.
DISPUTES
The Promotion and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Washington. As a condition of participating in the Promotion, participants agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Promotion, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, by final and binding arbitration administered by JAMS and conducted in Seattle, Washington before a sole arbitrator in accordance with the rules of JAMS.
