The Kraken announced the team's official 23-man active roster for the start of the season Tuesday. It includes two teenagers, 18-year-old Shane Wright, who will likely be making his NHL debut Wednesday night in Anaheim, and 19-year-old Matty Beniers, who followed up his torrid nine points in his first 10 NHL games last spring with four goals (two game-winners) in four preseason games.
The roster includes 14 forwards, including Brandon Tanev, who returns from a season-ending knee injury, and Daniel Sprong, who has been Tanev's linemate in the offseason and made the team on a professional tryout. Sprong has been away from the team in recent days for an immigration matter. It is still to be determined if Sprong will join the team on the two-game road trip (Thursday at Los Angeles).
