Backup goaltender Mike Condon will start for the Senators. Coach Guy Boucher said Wednesday that he's going to try to even out the workload for Condon and starter Craig Anderson going forward.
Defenseman Erik Karlsson will play in his 600th game for the Senators.
The Ducks will try for their season-best fourth straight win. Goaltender John Gibson is day-to-day with a lower-body injury sustained Tuesday in a 3-1 win at the Boston Bruins, so Ryan Miller will start.

Anaheim forward Adam Henrique has six goals and two assists in a six-game point streak.
Ottawa forward Matt Duchene has nine points (four goals, five assists) in his past 10 games.

Berra was recalled from San Diego of the American Hockey League on an emergency basis. … Oduya will return after missing four games. Thompson has missed five games and is a game-time decision. If he plays, Boucher said White will be sent back to Belleville of the American Hockey League. Borowiecki took a puck to the mouth during the morning skate and received a few stitches but will play.
