Mason

Chris Mason is turning back the clock at the 2017 NHL Winter Classic Alumni Game.

The veteran goalie, playing for the St. Louis Blues alumni, will pay homage to Hall of Famer Glenn Hall.

The mask is painted in the style of Hall's old facemask with a large Blues logo underneath.
Hall spent 10 seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, St. Louis' opponent for the 2017 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic at Busch Stadium on Jan. 1. He was an eight-time All-Star, won the 1963 Vezina Trophy and capped his NHL-record 502 consecutive game streak in Chicago, despite the fact he didn't regularly wear a mask until playing for the Blues in the 1968-69 season.
The Blues selected him in the 1967 expansion draft, and he won the Conn Smythe Trophy in 1968, Vezina Trophy in 1969 and led the Blues to the Stanley Cup Final in three straight seasons.
Mason, who spent two of his nine-seasons with the Blues, will also use his special mask to honor some fellow Blues Alumni, who will be his teammates in the game vs. Blackhawks Alumni on Dec. 31.
