Brown will become the 317th player to reach the milestone and fourth this season, joining Rick Nash of the New York Rangers, Antoine Vermette of the Anaheim Ducks and Kings teammate Marian Gaborik. Brown will be the 30th player to reach 1,000 games and spend his entire NHL career with one organization.

Status report

Johnson will serve the final game of a two-game suspension for boarding against Tampa Bay Lightning forward Vladislav Namestnikov on Saturday. ... The Kings called up Gravel from Ontario of the American Hockey League on Wednesday after placing Folin on injured reserve Tuesday. Folin was hurt during the first period of the Kings' 4-1 win against the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday.
