You certainly can't do that with the Lombardi Trophy.
New York Giants legendary quarterback, two-time Super Bowl MVP and everybody's favorite hockey dad Eli Manning had a drink from the Stanley Cup on Friday.
Manning shared the video, where he took to a knee to chug some suds out of The Greatest Trophy in All of Sports, on social media.

The bartender? Two-time Stanley Cup champion Brad Richards.
Richards and Manning overlapped in New York from 2011-2014 when Richards played for the New York Rangers. Richards won the Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2004 and the Chicago Blackhawks in 2015.
Manning did a pretty good job of keeping the spillage to a minimum and showed he still has some athleticism left, dropping his hips to stay below the drink. That's just good form.
After he finished Manning let out a celebratory "Woo!"
