Fantasy: Final top 200 rankings for 2015-16

The 2015-16 fantasy hockey season has come to an end, but it's never too early to preview the landscape for 2016-17.
The top four players in standard leagues (Patrick Kane, Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin and Jamie Benn) are in a class of their own, but fantasy owners would be foolish to ignore the League's youth movement. Connor McDavid, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Johnny Gaudreau are new names among the top 15.

Among goalies, Carey Price is no longer the clear No. 1 because of injury concerns and the Montreal Canadiens' collapse in his absence. Braden Holtby and Ben Bishop have solidified their elite standing, but neither should be drafted until the second round.
Defensemen have made a lasting impression on the overall landscape this season, with Erik Karlsson, Brent Burns and Kris Letang earning top-15 consideration. You also can't afford to ignore the per-game fantasy impact of rookie Shayne Gostisbehere.

With all these trends and more fresh in our minds, let's take a look at the top 200 player rankings for 2016-17. These rankings, which include injured players, are based on performance this season but take into account expectations for next season. Use these rankings as food for thought until we revisit them at the end of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
NOTES: Standard Yahoo categories include goals, assists, plus/minus, penalty minutes, power-play points and shots on goal for skaters, and wins, goals-against average, save percentage and shutouts for goalies. Value has been quantified based on factors including line combinations, power-play usage, team goalie situations, injury history, bounce-back or breakout potential, projected regression, age, and contract status (pending unrestricted and restricted free agents are noted below).
