The game between the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers scheduled for Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday has been postponed because of NHL COVID-19 protocol.

The Flyers also had their games at the Washington Capitals on Tuesday and at home against the New Jersey Devils on Thursday and Saturday previously postponed.
Flyers defenseman Travis Sanheim was placed on the NHL COVID-19 protocol list Sunday, and defenseman Justin Braun and forward Claude Giroux were added Tuesday.
The games have not yet been rescheduled.
The Flyers cannot practice until at least Monday. They are next scheduled to play at home Feb. 18 against the Rangers, their final game before playing the Boston Bruins on Feb. 20 in Honda NHL Outdoors Sunday at Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
Sanheim was placed on the protocol list prior to a 7-4 win at Washington on Sunday. Medical experts from the NHL and NHL Players' Association required all Flyers players, coaches and staff members to receive POC tests before the game. All tests returned negative, and the game was allowed to be played.
The NHL has postponed 35 games this season, 26 in February.
