Subban expected to miss four weeks for Golden Knights

Vegas Golden Knights goalie Malcolm Subban is expected to miss four weeks because of a lower-body injury sustained in a 3-2 overtime win against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday.
Subban, who made 37 saves before leaving the game with 9:10 left in the third period, appeared to be hurt extending his right leg on a save attempt. He is 2-0-0 with a 2.06 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage this season.

Oscar Dansk made 10 of 11 saves in relief and got the win. He likely will start against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday (10 p.m. ET; ATTSN-RM, NBCSCH, NHL.TV).
Vegas, which is without its No. 1 and No. 2 goalies after starter Marc-Andre Fleury was placed on injured reserve with a concussion on Oct. 15, is expected to recall a goalie from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League following their game on Sunday.

"Injuries provide opportunities for others and that is the situation we have here," Golden Knights general manager George McPhee said. "Our top two goaltenders are currently sidelined so we will now give our AHL goalies the chance to play in their absence. We felt Oscar Dansk performed well in relief on Saturday in his NHL debut."
Maxime Lagace was recalled from Chicago of the AHL last Sunday to back up Subban. He was returned to the AHL on Thursday when Dansk was recalled.
The Golden Knights are 6-1-0 this season, the best start by a team in its inaugural season.
