TORONTO - Fans attending the 2017 Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic on Sunday (3 p.m. ET; NBC, SN, TVA Sports) between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings have extra incentive to arrive early for The PreGame tailgate party.

NHL legend and Centennial Ambassador Wayne Gretzky will participate in a Q&A session at 12:30 p.m on the south side of Exhibition Stadium. The event will be hosted by Sportsnet broadcaster Christine Simpson.
In addition to Gretzky's appearance, fans can also experience the NHL's Centennial Fan Arena featuring two 53-foot trucks with interactive digital displays, original video content, one-of-a-kind historical memorabilia, unique photo moments, and a social media wall. There are other interactive events at The PreGame, including hardest shot and accuracy shooting booths and a pop-up ball hockey rink.
Following Gretzky's Q&A session, the Arkells will perform at The PreGame Concert presented by SiriusXM leading up to the start of the outdoor game.
