PRODUCTION TRENDS

-- There might not be a hotter line in the NHL right now than the New York Islanders' group of left wing Anders Lee, center Brock Nelson and right wing Josh Bailey. In just under 100 minutes of 5-on-5 ice time together this season, the trio has outscored opponents 8-0, according to Natural Stat Trick. Entering Sunday, Bailey has two goals and nine assists during an eight-game point streak, while Lee and Nelson have combined for nine goals and eight assists in the past seven games. Nelson (C/LW, 11 percent owned in Yahoo) has shown finishing ability with six goals in his past seven games and should be considered in deeper leagues.
-- Last season's Calder Trophy runner-up Brock Boeser and this season's favorite Elias Pettersson have come together with left wing Nikolay Goldobin to form one of the most dangerous trios in the NHL. In four games since returning from a concussion, Pettersson has four goals and three assists, including a five-point game Friday. The 19-year-old's playmaking ability has sparked the play of Boeser, who has two goals and three assists in four games since Vancouver Canucks coach Travis Green united the two on a line. Goldobin (2 percent owned) was mentioned as being fantasy relevant in NHL.com's preliminary line rankings when playing with Pettersson and Loui Eriksson and now becomes an even more attractive fantasy option playing with Vancouver's top talent. UPDATE: Boeser is out with a groin injury.

LINE CHANGES

-- Forward Drake Caggiula (LW/RW, 3 percent owned) has joined the Edmonton Oilers' top line with center Connor McDavid and left wing Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and is thriving in his new role. In two games on that line, Caggiula has scored three goals, each coming at even strength. Caggiula has five goals in his past five games and warrants fantasy consideration with exposure to the best fantasy player in the NHL. UPDATE: Ty Rattie returned from injury Tuesday and has rejoined a line with McDavid and Nugent-Hopkins.
-- Right wing Pontus Aberg (LW/RW, 5 percent owned) has joined left wing Rickard Rakell and center Ryan Getzlaf on the Anaheim Ducks' top line. Aberg has four goals in his past three games, including a pair of multi-goal performances in the span. Even in the midst of Anaheim's seven-game losing streak, Getzlaf has two goals and five assists during a four-game point streak and continues to bring fantasy relevance to his linemates. Keep an eye on Aberg, who saw a season-high 19:38 in the Ducks' overtime loss to the New York Rangers on Thursday and should continue to get plenty of usage on Anaheim's top line. UPDATE: Getzlaf (upper body) did not play Sunday but practiced Monday on a line with Patrick Eaves (LW/RW, 1 percent owned).
