Sidney Crosby is throwing his 30th birthday party with the Stanley Cup as the guest of honor.

The Pittsburgh Penguins captain announced Wednesday at a press conference at his annual hockey school in his hometown of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, that his turn with the trophy would fall in line with his birthday on Aug. 7. There is a Natal Day Parade that same day that Crosby said he hoped to be a part of, but he hadn't worked out the details yet.
Crosby took the Cup home for a parade in 2009 and 2016.
Last year, more than 30,000 people came out for the event, which took place on July 16.
In 2009, Crosby brought the Cup home to celebrate his 22nd birthday.
