The Sharks were penalized with 1:41 remaining in the period when defenseman Mario Ferraro flipped the puck over the glass, putting the Oilers on the power play.
Reimer made a diving save on Draisaitl with 47 seconds left, and San Jose killed off the remainder of the penalty in overtime.
"The rebound popped out and we talked about how they like to sling it to the backdoor, and I was kind of off-balance, and I saw him pass it back to Draisaitl," Reimer said. "I just tried to get something on it and lucky enough he hit me. It was one of those where you're lucky to get one of those bounces and it was nice."
