Here are the Stanley Cup Playoff clinching scenarios for March 16:

The Nashville Predators will clinch a playoff berth:
* If they defeat the Colorado Avalanche (9 p.m. ET; ALT, FS-TN, NHL.TV) in regulation or overtime.
OR
* If they defeat the Avalanche in a shootout AND either of the following occurs:
* The Anaheim Ducks lose to the Detroit Red Wings (10 p.m. ET; SN1, FS-W, FS-D, NHL.TV) in any fashion or defeat the Red Wings in a shootout.
OR
* The Dallas Stars lose to the Ottawa Senators (7:30 p.m. ET; TSN5, RDS, FS-SW+, NHL.TV) in any fashion.
