can travel with the Stars for their two games at the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday and Thursday, Nill said, after receiving two negative test results following a "real weak positive" that caused him to be added to the NHL COVID-19 protocol list Saturday. He was removed from the list Monday.
"It's weird times. It is what it is. First 'Dobby' and now 'Bones,' so I mean, I don't know," Dallas defenseman John Klingberg said. "He's fully vaccinated and a lot of guys on the team have gotten the first shot as well. So we don't know what's going on. What I've heard now is that Dobby was a false positive, so hopefully Bones is a false positive as well. But it's out of our control, it is what it is, and you have to deal with it."
Khudobin was expected to start Saturday against the Hurricanes. He was replaced by Jake Oettinger, who made 41 saves in a 3-2 win before making 37 in the loss Sunday.
The Stars (13-13-10) are in sixth place in the eight-team Discover Central Division. The top four teams will make the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
