Panthers put Stanley Cup-inspired design at center ice

Reigning champions have new pattern in middle of home arena

Life looks a little different after you win the Stanley Cup. So too does the center ice logo.

The Florida Panthers showed off their new home ice on Monday and it is fit for a champion.

The Panthers shield logo remains the same but behind it inside the face-off circle of Amerant Bank Arena is a pattern you might recognize.

The team filled in the circle with red and surrounding it is the famous embossed pattern from the bowl of the Stanley Cup.

The team used gold for the pattern to make it look like rays of the sun, being they play in the Sunshine State.

It's just the latest installment of the Panthers really enjoying their offseason as champions.
