Flyers in high school hockey jerseys split

The puck dropped on the 45th annual Flyers Cup, a high school hockey tournament involving teams from all over Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware, on Monday and the big club celebrated in their own unique way.

Philadelphia Flyers players arrived at Wells Fargo Center before their game against the St. Louis Blues wearing various jerseys from the massive 36-team, four division tournament as a nod to their younger counterparts.

The Flyers Cup was established in 1980. The 2024 version of the tournament is split into AAA, AA, A and Girls divisions.

The tournament continues throughout this week.
