Chandler Stephenson may have gotten to lift the Stanley Cup, but the real thrill for the family came for Ford Stephenson, who got to play with a microphone.

The adorable 1-year-old son of the Vegas Golden Knights forward was hanging out with dad during a postgame interview after a Game 5 victory clinched the Cup on Tuesday.

Ford (who celebrated his 1st birthday on May 22) showed he had his dad's good hands, putting a serious grip on the Sportsnet microphone and drawing a big smile from dad. In his defense, those foam mic covers are incredibly squishy.

And Ford wasn't the only kid ready to celebrate.

Isla Smith, the daughter of Golden Knights forward Reilly Smith, had a seat in the Cup.

Beckham Karlsson, the newborn son of William Karlsson, also looked pretty comfortable sitting in the trophy.

Looks like the Golden Knights have more than a few future prospects to scout, all with Stanley Cup experience.
