The first of four consecutive home games for the Vegas Golden Knights in mid-February saw the team host the defending Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues for the final time of the season.
The back-and-forth affair saw six Golden Knights record multi-point games, a four-goal game from the Blues' Zach Sanford, and an overtime winner for the ages. "MarchyMania" is the focus on today's #VGKReplay.

STL@VGK: Marchessault scores power-play goal in OT

Analysis from VGK Insider Gary Lawless
Jonathan Marchessault likes big moments. And he's got the hands, vision and shot to execute when the spotlight is on him.
His OT winner against the Blues is a perfect example of Marchessault rising to the occasion. Marchessault did a lot of the work on this goal on the previous play when he broke down the ice on a breakaway only to be hooked from behind at the last second resulting a 4-on-3 OT power play for the VGK.
The scoring play got set up with some hard work and quick thinking by Mark Stone. Stone darted out to the blue line and kept the puck in the offensive zone. Stone then dropped the puck off for Marchessault who zipped a cross ice pass to Max Pacioretty. Pacioretty gets two swipes at it before a rebound pops right in front of Marchessault. A quick dust off and then a perfect wrist shot for the win.
As always, Marchessault's reaction was gold. The cupped hand lifted to his ear, beseeching the T-Mobile faithful to roar even louder, and then the face-wide smile and greeting of his teammates in a cluster of celebration.
A pure moment and as we've come to expect, Pure Marchy.
