Gregory Campbell was named assistant general manager of the Florida Panthers in September of 2023 after serving as vice president of player personnel & development and general manager of Florida’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.
Campbell is a two-time Stanley Cup champion, winning as a member of Florida’s front office in 2023-24 and as a player with the Boston Bruins in 2010-11.
Before joining Florida, Campbell spent four seasons as player development coach in the Columbus Blue Jackets organization.
A veteran of 803 NHL regular season games, Campbell was originally selected by Florida in the third round (67th overall) of the 2002 NHL Draft. He spent six seasons with the Panthers (2003-04 to 2009-10), registering 85 points (29-56-85) over 363 regular season games. As a player, Campbell won championships on the professional, major junior and international stages, including winning a Stanley Cup with the Bruins in 2011 and Memorial Cup and Ontario Hockey League Championships with the Kitchener Rangers in 2003.
