Lauren Cochran was named the chief marketing officer of the Florida Panthers in January of 2023. As a member of the executive staff, Cochran became a Stanley Cup Champion with Florida in 2024.
In her role, Cochran oversees marketing, content, creative, social media, game presentation, retail and digital media for the hockey club, Amerant Bank Arena, Baptist Health IcePlex and Ft. Lauderdale War Memorial.
In her first two years with the Club, the team experienced record-breaking retail numbers on the heels of two deep playoff runs and was among the top clubs in the NHL in social media growth.
Prior to joining the Panthers, Cochran spent 10 seasons with the Miami Heat, rising to be chief of digital marketing for the organization. While with the Heat, Cochran led initiatives to expand e-commerce through dynamic, award-winning uniform campaigns and building out a digital marketing strategy that propelled corporate partnerships, ticket sales and retail success. Under her leadership, the Heat experienced sustained growth in both the club’s digital presence and on social media through strategic and engaging content.
Cochran served seven years for the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers in roles ranging from sales and service to marketing and digital media.
A native of Richboro, Penn., Cochran graduated from George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2006.
She currently resides in Cooper City with her husband Elliot and three children.
