The Florida Panthers capped off their 30th season by winning their first Stanley Cup, one year and 11 days after falling in the Final to the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Panthers became the ninth team in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup after losing in the previous Final, and first since the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009.

Florida, which raced out to a 3‑0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final, secured its first championship with a 2‑1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers in Game 7.
