Good morning and welcome to "Cats & Coffee," a weekly segment, presented by Koffee Kult, in which we serve up an exciting look at what's on deck for your Florida Panthers. Like our friends at Koffee Kult, this forecast serves up only the best -- so sit back, sip and enjoy our latest brew of news, notes and information!

The Russian Rocket has landed… again!

As part of their ongoing "Panthers Rewind" series, FOX Sports Florida will be re-airing two classic games this week centered around Hall of Famer Pavel Bure, who brought a pair of Rocket Richard Trophies to South Florida after being acquired by the Cats via trade in 1999.

On Thursday, fans can catch Bure's debut with the Panthers from Jan. 20, 1999. In that game, Bure netted two goals - including the game-winner - in a 5-2 win over the New York Islanders.

Then, on Sunday, watch Bure blow up on New Year's Day. Providing all the fireworks the Cats would need, he recorded four goals in a 7-5 win over the Tampa Bay Lighting on Jan. 1, 2000.

During each broadcast, a few surprises are also to be expected on social media, so make sure to stay tuned to @FlaPanthers and @FOXPanthers on Twitter throughout the classic contests.

Also, keep an eye out for new digital episodes of "Inside the Panthers: At Home" each week.

HUBEDREAU'S GAMING SKILLS

We all know how good Jonathan Huberdeau is with a hockey stick.

But we now know that he's also pretty dangerous with a controller. In the opening round of the NHL Player Gaming Challenge, Huberdeau made very quick work of Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov. After blowing out Kuznetsov in Game 1 by a score of 7-3, Huberdeau completed his sweep of the best-of-three series with an epic 5-2 victory in Game 2.

The best part of the stream, however, came in the first few minutes.

Shortly after puck drop, Huberdeau opened the scoring on a goal from… himself!

"Oh, Jonny!," he shouted before both himself and Kuznetsov burst into laughter.

Stay tuned for more Panthers-related E-Sports news in the coming days and weeks.

STILLMAN'S CHECK-IN

Riley Stillman has had a lot of time recently to catch up on his reading.

In the latest entry of the "Cats Check-In" series, the Panthers rookie defenseman detailed his day-to-day routine while under quarantine, which includes flipping through a few WWII books.

"The book I'm reading right now is Unbroken," he said. "I read Band of Brothers and a couple other books this year. Unbroken is about an American POW during the second World War in the Pacific. It's actually really interesting. It's like a biography and tells it through his point of view."

Rather than catching up on TV, Stillman said he's instead also been watching a lot of film.

"I've actually been watching a pretty good amount of film, some games from this last year and from earlier playoffs," he said. "I have my sticks and stuff here, but obviously we can't get on the ice. I don't have rollerblades, so I've just been stickhandling and trying to stay on top of things."

OPENING UP THE VAULT

Who doesn't love a good treasure hunt?

With the brand-new "Vaulted" series at FloridaPanthers.com, fans can take a quick look back at some of the biggest moments in franchise history. In these articles, fans are also encouraged to search for treasures of their own within the Panthers Virtual Vault, presented by Baptist Health.

In the first installment of the series, we took a look at back at Mike Hoffman's unforgettable 17-game point streak early on in the 2018-19 season. The mark was not only a personal best for Hoffman, but also broke Pavel Bure's longstanding franchise record of 13 games set back in 1999-00.

"That's our responsibility, to put points up on the board and help this team win hockey games," said Hoffman, whose 20 points during the streak came in the form of 10 goals and 10 assists. "Like I said, when things are going your way you just want to ride that wave as long as you can."

DENISNKO AGREES TO TERMS

Grigori Denisenko is ready to make the jump to North America.

The 15th overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, the dynamic forward agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with the Panthers last week, ushering in the next stage of his career after spending the previous two seasons fine-tuning his game in Russia's top league, the KHL.

"[I'm] ready [to travel] as soon as possible," Denisenko, who will turn 20 in June, said on a conference call Wednesday through a translator. "When the airports open, [I] want to come as soon as possible, search for [a] home, meet the team, meet coaches and [check out] the town."
