Tuesday: Washington Capitals, 7:00 p.m. ET
Closing out their season series, the Panthers will look to come out on top in their rubber match with the Capitals (14-3-5) at FLA Live Arena on Tuesday. After winning their first matchup by a score of 5-4 in overtime on Nov. 4, the Panthers lost the rematch in Washington, 4-3, last Friday. In first place in the Metropolitan Division, the Capitals have won nine of their last 11 games and enter this week on a three-game winning streak. Leading the team and ranking second in the NHL in scoring, Alex Ovechkin has already amassed 37 points (19 goals, 18 assists), including scoring a hat trick his last time out against the Panthers. Over his last five games, Ovechkin has scored seven goals. Between the pipes, Ilya Samsonov has started five of the last six games for Washington. In 11 appearances this season, the 24-year-old goalie has gone 9-0-1 with a 2.27 goals-against average and .918 save percentage. For the Panthers, Jonathan Huberdeau is always a safe bet to crack the scoresheet in any matchup. Sitting first on the team in scoring with 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists), he's lit the lamp four times in his last seven games.

Thursday: Buffalo Sabres, 7:00 p.m. ET
The Panthers will get their first look at the Sabres (8-10-3) this season on Thursday at FLA Live Arena. Buffalo has lost seven of its last 10 games and enters this week looking to bounce back from a 3-2 overtime loss at Detroit on Saturday. Struggling to keep the puck out of their own net, the Sabres are currently surrendering the fifth-most goals per game in the league on average (3.33). Over their last 10 games, they've allowed five goals on six different occasions. Up front, Tage Thompson leads the team in goals (10) and points (15). After him, four different players are tied for second on the team in scoring with 13 points: Rasmus Dahlin, Jeff Skinner, Kyle Okposo and Victor Olofsson. Catching fire, Thompson has scored five goals in his last five games. As for the home team, keep a close eye on Sam Reinhart for the Panthers in this tilt. Facing off against his old team for the first time since being acquired by Florida in the offseason, Reinhart has produced 12 points (four goals, eight assists) during his first season with the Cats.

Saturday: St. Louis Blues, 1:00 p.m. ET
Wrapping up their homestand, the Panthers will host the Blues (11-7-3) for a matinee matchup at FLA Live Arena on Saturday. In second place in the Central Division, St. Louis has lost seven of its last 10 games, but enters this week looking to build upon a 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets on Saturday. Not lacking offensive firepower, the Blues currently rank tied for seventh in the league in scoring with an average of 3.33 goals per game. Jordan Kyrou leads the team in goals (9) and points (22), including finding back of the net seven times over his last 11 games. Also chipping in, five other players have scored at least seven goals: Vladimir Tarasenko (7), David Perron (7), Pavel Buchnevich (8) and Brandon Saad (8). Able to contribute immensely on both sides of the puck for the Panthers, expect to hear Aaron Ekblad's name a lot in this game. In addition to being the team's No. 1 defenseman, he's also recorded six goals and 11 assists.
