SUNRISE, Fla. -It's time to find out once in for all who is the best player on the digital ice.

In a battle between two of the best players in franchise history, Florida Panthers star forwards Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Huberdeau will put down their sticks and pick up controllers for a best-of-three tilt in EA Sport's NHL 20 on Thursday at 2 p.m. ET at Twitch.tv/FlaPanthers.

Linemates throughout the majority of their careers with the Panthers, Barkov and Huberdeau sit third and first, respectively, on the franchise's all-time scoring list. Both players have also broken the 90-point mark in a season and have represented the team at the annual NHL All-Star Game.

During the abbreviated 2019-20 regular season, Huberdeau led the team in scoring with 78 points (23 goals, 55 assists), while Barkov ranked second with 62 points (20 goals, 42 assists).

With this series, the longtime friends and teammates will finally be pitted against each other.
