Hoffman, 28, appeared in all 82 of the Ottawa Senators regular season games, registering 56 points (22-34-56). The 6-foot, 181-pound native of Kitchener, Ontario, has produced 20-plus goals in each of his last four seasons, including a career-high 29 goals in 2015-16.
Over 342 career regular season NHL games with Ottawa (2011-12 to 2017-18), Hoffman has amassed 230 points (107-123-230) and has notched 14 points (7-7-14) over 25 career Stanley Cup Playoff games.
Prior to beginning his NHL career, Hoffman won the 2011 Calder Cup with the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League. He produced 169 points (71-98-169) over 242 career AHL games. Hoffman was originally selected by Ottawa in the fifth round (130th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft.
