SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers General Manager Bill Zito announced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Ryan McAllister on a three-year, entry-level contract commencing in the 2023-24 season.
"Ryan is a talented playmaking forward who showcased his dynamic ability in his first season in college hockey," said Zito. "We are looking forward to his continued development within our club."

McAllister, 21, recorded 49 points (13-36-49) over 39 games in his first season with Western Michigan University (NCAA) in 2022-23, leading the Broncos in assists and points. He ranked fourth among NCAA skaters in assists and sixth in points.
Prior to his collegiate career, the 5-foot-10, 185-pound native of London, Ontario skated in parts of three seasons (2019-20 to 2021-22) with the Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), amassing 169 points (70-99-169) over 99 regular season games. He was named the CJHL and AJHL Most Valuable Player in 2022-23, leading the league in assists (82) and points (139) while ranking second in goals (57).
Undrafted, McAllister helped the Bandits secure the AJHL title in 2021-22, pacing all league skaters in the postseason with 10 assists and 19 points (9-10-19) over 13 games en route to being named AJHL Playoff MVP.
