Driedger, 24, has appeared in 16 games with Springfield this season, owning a 7-6-1 record, 2.81 goals against average, .915 save percentage and one shutout. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound native of Winnipeg, Manitoba was signed by Springfield to a one-year, AHL one-way contract on July 3, 2018.
He has appeared in three career NHL games with the Ottawa Senators (2014-15 to 2016-17). Over 108 career AHL games, Driedger has posted a 45-45-7 record, 3.04 goals against average, .909 save percentage and three shutouts.
Driedger was originally selected by Ottawa in the third round (67th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
