McLellan previously worked as a professor and head of school for the University of Southern Queensland's School of Health and Medical Sciences since 2019. Prior to his time there, he served as a professor of sports and exercise science at Bond University. In addition to his academic positions, McLellan concurrently led strength and conditioning, sports science and athletic development programs as the director of athletic performance at the Gold Coast Titans in the National Rugby League and sports science coordinator with the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League. McLellan holds a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science, a master's degree in physiotherapy and a doctoral degree in applied sports science.
Joyce joins the Panthers after completing five seasons as strength and conditioning coach with the Pittsburgh Penguins American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He holds a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Marywood University and a master's degree in kinesiology and exercise science from A.T. Still University.
Gaydos served as a strength and conditioning coach within the Pittsburgh Penguins organization since 2016. He holds a bachelor's degree in in exercise physiology from Pennsylvania Western University, California and is pursuing master's degree in kinesiology and exercise science from A.T. Still University.
