SUNRISE, Fla. - The Florida Panthers and Panthers Foundation today announced that all ticket sales proceeds from the Panthers preseason home game on Thursday, Oct. 6 vs. Tampa Bay Lightning will benefit Hurricane Ian relief efforts.
The Panthers are encouraging fans attending the game to drop off donations such as water, nonperishable food items, hygiene supplies, blankets, pillows and air mattresses to the JetBlue Tarmac prior to entry. All items collected through the Panthers supply drive on Oct. 6 will be donated to Hurricane relief across Florida.

"It is devastating to see the damage and loss that our neighbors to the west, north and throughout the state have experienced this past week," said President and CEO Matt Caldwell. "The Viola Family, Florida Panthers and Panthers Foundation hope to unite efforts with the South Florida community and hockey fans to fundraise and collect donations for immediate relief."
During the game, fans can further support fundraising efforts by purchasing a ticket for the Florida Panthers Foundation's combined 50/50 raffle, carried over from the team's Sept. 29 game, to benefit Hurricane Ian relief.
