NBC Sports Group will produce two versions of NHL Live (one for NBCSN, one for USA Network/CNBC) from separate studios at its International Broadcast Center located in Stamford, Conn. NHL Live will feature a combination of hosts Liam McHugh, Kathryn Tappen, and Paul Burmeister, as well as analysts and former players Jeremy Roenick, Keith Jones, Patrick Sharp and Anson Carter.
Yandle, 32, appeared in all 82 of Florida's regular season games, posting career-best numbers in assists (53), points (62), power-play goals (7) and power-play points (39). Leading all NHL defensemen in power-play points this season, the native of Boston, Mass., set Panthers franchise single-season records in power-play points, points by a defenseman and assists by a defenseman.
The NHL's active iron man, having played in 797 consecutive games, Florida's 2019 NHL All-Star owns the fifth-longest consecutive games played streak in NHL history. He has appeared in 907 career regular season games for Florida (2016-17 to 2018-19), the New York Rangers (2014-15 to 2015-16) and Phoenix/Arizona Coyotes (2006-07 to 2014-15), producing 528 points (94-434-528). Since entering the NHL in 2006-07, no NHL defenseman has totaled more power-play points during regular season play than Yandle (243).
In the 2018-19 NHL Players Association Player Poll, Yandle was voted first for the funniest player in the NHL (12.1%) and second-most likely to make the best TV analyst once they retire (4.1%).
