Panthers Relaunch 'Heroes Among Us' Program Presented by CITY Furniture

SUNRISE, Fla. -The Florida Panthers are proud to announce that the ninth season of their 'Heroes Among Us' program presented by CITY Furniture is now accepting hero nominations for the 2021-22 season.
'Heroes Among Us' has been a beloved program of the Florida Panthers Foundation since its inception in 2013. The program gives the South Florida community the opportunity to nominate and honor someone who has served or is currently serving in any branch of the United States military.

"Throughout these past eight seasons, the 'Heroes Among Us' program has brought us touching and impactful stories that have resonated with our community and our Panther fans," said Senior Director of the Florida Panthers Foundation & Community Relations, John Colombo. "We're humbled to honor these military heroes and their families at BB&T Center each night as we thank them for their service and dedication to our country."
During each Panthers' home game, an honoree is recognized prior to the singing of the national anthem, celebrated with an in-game video feature sharing their story, and presented with an honorary Panthers jersey. Throughout its previous eight seasons, the program has proudly honored over 300 military heroes.

CITY Furniture has been involved with the 'Heroes Among Us' initiative for over 3 years, and they are proud to continue their commitment as the presenting sponsor for the 2021-22 season.
