SUNRISE, Fla. - The Florida Panthers announced today that the club's practice facility, the Florida Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs, Fla., will serve as the host site for the 2021 Liberty Bell Games. The showcase will be held on Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19.

"We are proud to announce that the Panthers IceDen will host the Liberty Bell Games showcase," said Panthers IceDen General Manager Keith Fine. "The Florida Panthers are dedicated to the growth of youth hockey in South Florida and this showcase provides a fantastic opportunity for young players in the southeastern United States to compete against the best in their age group and further develop their skills."
The Liberty Bell Games is the premier youth hockey showcase for 14-18-year-old players who play/and or live in the Southeastern District, which includes Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
Sanctioned by USA Hockey, the Liberty Bell Games are designed to scout and evaluate elite youth hockey talent playing among the best competition in their age group.
The 2021 Liberty Bell Games marks a significant addition to the event with the first-ever showcase for youth girls hockey, the Liberty Belle Games. This new showcase will feature an elite group of 120 selected youth girls hockey players from the Southeastern United States.
"The Liberty Bell Games are thrilled for the chance to be played in South Florida for the first time," said Liberty Bell Games President & CEO Lew Mongelluzzo. "The principal part of our initiative, first and foremost, is to provide our aspiring players with a unique opportunity to participate in a superior level of play, which allows them to showcase their skills in highly competitive games where they can be evaluated. And, for the first time, it's a privilege to add girls to our showcase beginning in 2021."

The tournament will be broken into four groups:
29 Liberty Bell Games alumni have been selected in the NHL Draft and over 200 have been recruited by colleges since its inception. Former participants include Johnny Gaudreau (Calgary Flames), Kevin Labanc (San Jose Sharks), Anthony DeAngelo (New York Rangers) Cayden Primeau (Montreal Canadiens), Trevor Zegras (Anaheim Ducks), and Shane Pinto (Ottawa Senators).
