SUNRISE, Fla. -Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has loaned forward Chase Balisy to Florida's American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.

Balisy, 25, appeared in three games with Florida including his first NHL game on Oct. 28 vs. Detroit. The 5-foot-11, 179-pound native of Fullerton, Calif., scored two goals with Springfield this season.
He was originally selected by the Nashville Predators in the sixth round (170th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
