The Panthers regular season opens on Oct. 14 when the Cats host the Pittsburgh Penguins. The schedule is highlighted by a holiday back-to-back set against the New York Rangers on Dec. 29 and the Tampa Bay Lightning on Dec. 30 as well as a New Year's Day matchup against the Montreal Canadiens.
