Life on the road in the NHL is meticulously planned, with everything from travel to pregame preparation receiving the utmost attention to detail. Even the most thorough travel plans have to change on the fly when mother nature strikes, which it did on Jan. 4 when the Panthers team arrived in Boston to face the Bruins, only to get caught in a nor'easter storm, which hit the region causing the NHL to postpone the game. Fans will be with the Panthers every step of the way, from the team plane and their hotel, to pregame meetings and visiting locker room, as the club made their way to Detroit to play the Red Wings in Little Caesars Arena in the wake of the 'Bomb Cyclone'.
Viewers will get caught up in the moments that shaped the Panthers road trip, including watching Head Coach Bob Boughner inform the team that their game versus Boston had been cancelled and Team Services Manager Stiles Burr giving the team their best options to get out of Beantown. Playing away from home, weathering a historic storm and traveling and playing on the same day was the challenge Boughner and the Cats faced upon landing in Detroit. Interviews featured throughout the show include teammates Jared McCann,Micheal Haley, Nick Bjugstad, Keith Yandle and Mike Matheson, in addition to Boughner, Burr, Assistant Coach Paul McFarland, Strength and Conditioning Coach Tommy Powers and Head Equipment Manager Teddy Richards.
