SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers General Manager Bill Zito announced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Evan Rodrigues on a four-year, one-way contract.

"Rodrigues brings skill and the ability to compete in three zones of the ice," said Zito. "A culture fit and someone who adds versatility to our lineup, we can't wait to welcome Evan to the Panthers."

Rodrigues, 29, skated in 69 regular season games with Colorado recording 39 points (16-23-39) and a plus-7 rating, and seven postseason games collecting five points (1-4-5) over the 2022-23 season.

The 5-foot-11, 184-pound native of Toronto, Ontario appeared in 385 NHL regular season games with Buffalo (2015-16 to 2019-20), Pittsburgh (2019-20 to 2021-22) and Colorado (2022-23), collecting 168 points (69-99-168). Rodrigues skated in 128 games for the Buffalo Sabres American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate Rochester Americans, scoring 70 points (23-47-70).

Undrafted, Rodrigues played four seasons in the NCAA for Boston University amassing 121 points (42-79-121) in 146 games. In the 2014-15 campaign, he finished second in scoring among all NCAA skaters with 61 points (21-40-61). Rodrigues was named to the Hockey East Second All-Star team in 2013 and 2015.
