SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers President & CEO Matthew Caldwell announced today the following promotions:
- Nicole Meloff promoted to Vice President, Client Service
- John Markiewicz promoted to Vice President, Ticket Sales
- Adam Summerell promoted to Vice President, Ticket Operations
- Stephen Gerhard promoted to Senior Director, Group Sales and Development

"I am thrilled to announce the promotions of Nicole, John, Adam and Stephen," said Caldwell. "Each of these individuals have become key players in our organization and have contributed a great deal to the growth of our business staff's culture and day-to-day operations. They are proud to be Panthers and are deserving of taking the next step in their careers as we continue to build a strong and successful future in South Florida by promoting from within and encouraging career growth within our organization".
Meloff, 34, is one of the Panthers business staff's longest tenured members, having been with the organization for 11 years. As Vice President, Client Service, Meloff will continue to oversee the club's Season Ticket Holder renewal campaign, while focusing on long-term business development strategies and planning of Season Ticket Holder and Premium Club member benefits and events.
The native of Sunrise, Fla., most recently served as Director of the Client Experience Team. Since joining the Panthers in 2006 as an Inside Sales Representative, Meloff has developed her career within the organization as Client Services Manager, Client Services Representative and New Business Development Representative.
Markiewicz, 34, joined the Panthers during the 2014-15 season as Senior Manager, Ticket Sales and most recently served as the organization's Director of Premium Seating. As Vice President, Ticket Sales, Markiewicz will oversee all sales for the Panthers and BB&T Center concerts and events, while focusing on driving revenue from season ticket packages, premium seating and group sales.
Prior to joining the Panthers, the native of Buffalo, N.Y., served as Purdue University Athletics' General Manager of Sales and spent six years with the New York Mets (MLB) organization serving as a Senior Account Executive, Account Executive and Group Sales Executive. During his time with the Mets, Markiewicz developed the organization's Season Ticket Account Services department, focusing on Season Ticket Holders and retention.
Summerell, 37, enters his third season with the Panthers and BB&T Center having most recently served as Senior Director of Ticket Operations. As Vice President, Ticket Operations, Summerell will oversee all aspects of BB&T Center's Ticket Office for both Panthers hockey and arena concerts and events, while spearheading the arena's ticket technology and digital ticketing initiatives. He will be responsible for inventory management and arena manifests, while managing and verifying all sales, parking, and ticket revenue.
Prior to joining the Panthers, the native of Monrovia, Cali., spent 10 years with the Miami Dolphins (NFL) and Hard Rock Stadium, most recently serving as the Director of Ticket Operations. With the Dolphins, Summerell also served as Senior Manager, Ticket Operations, Group Sales Account Executive and Account Executive.
Gerhard, 31, enters his second season with the organization, most recently serving as Director, Group Sales. As Senior Director, Group Sales and Development, Gerhard will oversee both group and inside sales while focusing on training and developing the organization's sales staff.
Prior to joining the Panthers, the native of Rome, Ga., served as Senior Manager, New Business and Manager of Group Sales for the Phoenix Suns (NBA), following his time as Group Concert & Event Sales Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
