SUNRISE, Fla. -The Florida Panthers and Baptist Health announced today that the club will host 'Wear A Mask' Night, presented by Baptist Health, on Monday, April 19th at BB&T Center when the Panthers host the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Panthers to Host 'Wear A Mask' Night in Partnership with Baptist Health
BB&T Center is open to a limited capacity of fans for the 2020-21 season. All fans in attendance at the game will receive a Panthers-Baptist Health co-branded face mask as part of the Panthers' health and safety guidelines.
Additionally, in support of the initiative, Panthers' goalie, Chris Driedger, will be wearing a one-of-a-kind customized goalie mask, featuring a tribute to healthcare workers and promoting the importance of continuing to wear a mask to stop the spread of COVID-19 during the pre-game warmups. Following the game, Driedger's warm-up worn mask will be auctioned off to raise funds for the Baptist Health Foundation.
Baptist Health has been a leader in protecting the South Florida community through the COVID-19 pandemic and has participated in welcoming fans back safely to BB&T Center through the Panthers' Red Reminders program. Learn more at

In January, BB&T Center became the first NHL hockey arena to achieve the global benchmark International WELL Building Institute's (IWBI) WELL Health-Safety Rating in recognition of the arena's stringent guidelines and protocols to combat COVID-19 and its preparedness to safely accommodate fans upon reopening.
Red Reminders, presented by Baptist Health, utilizes signage and markers stationed throughout the entire BB&T Center to visually remind fans of important health and safety guidelines.
"Baptist Health protects the South Florida community each and every day, and we are so thankful for their support," said Florida Panthers Chief Commercial Officer Shawn Thornton. "We're honored to play a role in continuing to bring the important 'Wear A Mask' messaging to the forefront. From their support and integration into the Red Reminders program, to distributing masks to season ticket members and the community, Baptist Health has been an incredible partner of the Panthers."
"Baptist Health continues to explore avenues to educate the community on the importance of keeping one another safe and we are honored to bring the 'Wear a Mask' message to life in a unique way with the Florida Panthers," said Javier Hernandez-Lichtl, CEO of Baptist Health's Doctors Hospital and Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute. "Wearing a mask continues to be vital in our fight against COVID-19. This partnership allows us to promote a unified message of safety with a great partner like the Panthers that will help us empower and encourage the community to continue to 'Mask Up' and protect each other."
Frontline healthcare workers in attendance will be recognized throughout the game and fans watching at home, on Bally Sports Florida, will see their broadcasters supporting the 'Wear a Mask' initiative.
