A veteran of 154 games in the NHL, Dalpe leads the Checkers with 10 goals in 19 games this season, while Tierney, who inked to a one-year, two-way contract with the Panthers in the offseason, has accumulated 226 points (73 goals, 153 assists) over 561 games in the NHL.
No stranger to the club, Kiersted has already played in 10 games with Florida in 2022-23.
"At 33 years old, still getting the call is never a bad thing for your career," smiled Dalpe, who serves as the captain in Charlotte. "Happy to be a part of the team. It's been a good road trip for them, so I just want to bring some energy. It's cliche, but that's what I'm here to do."
Just one point out of a playoff spot with a record of 12-9-4, the Panthers have gone 2-1-1 through the first four stops on their trip through the Northwest, including consecutive 5-1 wins over the Vancouver Canucks and Seattle Kraken in their last two stops before Winnipeg.
Getting off to a hot start during Saturday's win in Seattle, Carter Verhaeghe scored twice -- once at even strength and then on the power play -- within a span of 26 seconds to give the Panthers an early 2-0 lead. After that, Matthew Tkachuk, Aleksi Heponiemi and Gustav Forsling added goals throughout the contest as the Panthers steadily pulled away.
With 12 multi-point games, Tkachuk leads the Panthers in scoring with 34 points (12 goals, 22 assists). After him, Verhaeghe is second with 22 points, including a team-high 14 goals. On the blue line, Brandon Montour leads the club's defensemen with 21 points (five goals, 16 assists).
Making the 50th appearance of his NHL career, goaltender Spencer Knight stopped 35 of 36 shots as the Panthers snapped the Kraken's franchise-record winning streak at seven games.
Owning an 8-3-3 record with a .923 save percentage, Knight will start again in Winnipeg.
"Spencer feels good," Maurice said of Knight, who has started six of the last seven games. "It's his first real opportunity to get a little bit of a taste of what the No. 1 role is like in the National Hockey League. We've got two divisional games when we get back, so we wanted to give him a little of a rhythm."
Occupying second place in the Central Division with a record of 15-7-1, the Jets have won four of their last five games, including a 5-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks in their latest outing on Sunday. Saku Maenalanen, Dylan Samberg, Morgan Barron, Mark Scheifele and Nate Schmidt all scored for Winnipeg in the win, while Connor Hellebuyck stopped 28 of 30 shots between the pipes.
With several dangerous forwards up front, Josh Morrissey leads the Jets in scoring with 26 points (five goals, 21 assists), while Kyle Connor is in second with 23 points (eight goals, 15 assists). Tied for third, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Blake Wheeler have each notched 22 points.
The backbone of Winnipeg's fifth-ranked defense (2.57 goals allowed per game), Hellebuyck has gone 12-5-1 with a 2.27 goals-against average, .931 save percentage and three shutouts.
In 2021-22, Florida came out on top in both of its games against Winnipeg.
Even with several key players out of the lineup due to injuries, Eetu Luostarinen said the Panthers are confident that other players can step up in order to end the trip with a win and head home with some momentum in hand.
"Everybody can play with everyone," Luostarinen said. "A lot of guys can step up."
