Anton Lundell had himself another big game overseas in Finland on Friday.
Finding the back of the net three times, the 19-year-old center picked up his second hat trick of the season while helping power HIFK to a 5-2 win over TPS. After scoring a pair of goals in the first period, he tipped in a shot on the power play to complete the impressive trifecta in the third.

"I can create chances for myself and my linemates," Lundell told FloridaPanthers.com in November. "At the same time, I think I can play a really good two-way game. I want to be a trusted player who the coach can trust on the ice in every situation."
Taken by the Panthers with the 12th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, Lundell has been on an absolute tear during his third professional season in Liiga. At the time of this writing, the Espoo, Finland native is sitting tied for first in the league in goals (16) and tied for sixth in points (25).
Those massive numbers - which are both already well beyond his previous career-highs - are even more impressive when you remember that Lundell missed a good chunk of games while at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship, where he captained Finland to a bronze-medal win.
In addition to finishing third at the tournament in goals scored with six, Lundell also owned a 70% success rate in the faceoff circle and led all skaters with a whopping 91 faceoff victories.
Not the only Panthers prospect currently suiting up for HIFK, Henrik Borgstrom, who was taken with the 23rd overall pick in 2016, also scored during today's win against TPS. Working his way back from a long-term injury, the 23-year-old forward has accumulated five goals in 12 games.
Lundell and Borgstrom will be back in action on Saturday against Lukko.
