QUICK HITS

Head coach Mike Sullivan has the Penguins playing some of the best hockey in the league over the last two months, as they have just two regulation losses in their last 21 games, going 17-2-2 since December 4.
Pittsburgh's 17 wins in that stretch only trail Colorado (19) for most in the NHL.
The Penguins enter tonight's game with points in 10-straight home games 8-0-2.
Six of the last 12 matchups between Pittsburgh and Los Angeles have gone to overtime dating back to Mar. 7, 2015.
Pittsburgh's 10 wins in January are a club record for this month. A win tonight would mark just the 24th time in NHL history a team has recorded 11 or more wins in the calendar month of January. Colorado's 14 wins this month are an NHL record for January.
Since Jan. 15, only Joe Pavelski (4G-9A) and Johnny Gaudreau (2G-11A) have more points than Sidney Crosby, who's picked up 12 points (6G-6A) in his last eight games.
