| NHL | Pittsburgh Penguins | 16 | | MLS | Seattle Sounders FC | 13 | | WNBA | Minnesota Lynx | 11 | | MLB | Los Angeles Dodgers | 9 | | NBA | Boston Celtics | 8 | | NFL | Kansas City Chiefs | 7 | | League | Team | Postseason Streak | | --- | --- | --- |
Since the 1967 NHL Expansion, the Penguins' 16-season playoff streak is tied for the seventh-longest run of any NHL club.
No NHL team has had a more dominant 16-year stretch since Pittsburgh's franchise-record playoff streak began in 2006-07. The Penguins 725 wins, .639 points percentage and 3,860 goals scored all rank first in the NHL over that span. Leading the way for Pittsburgh is none other than captain Sidney Crosby, whose 1,303 regular-season points over that span are more than any other player.
The Penguins' 16-straight playoff appearances has come with four trips to the Stanley Cup Final, and three Stanley Cup Championships (2009, '16, '17). Pittsburgh's three Stanley Cups during this 16-year stretch is tied with the Chicago Blackhawks for most in the NHL during that span. Since 2006-07, no NHL team has more playoff victories than the Penguins' 100.
